Finals contention
       The Cougars had shown some inspiring end-of-season form to beat the likes of Tamborine and Taki Kings,
         to make it into the top five.  However, glory was not to be had for another season as Athletico once again
         tipped us out of the finals series.
Nic accepts the double at the break-up BBQ.
        Not content with his goal-scoring total, Nic has taken out the Cougars'  `Player of the Season' award
        and also been voted as the captain for season 2002.
